A new survey carried out by Red C which surveyed 1,500 employees in Ireland and the UK between May 27 and June 4 has found that 82 per cent of Irish employees face increased stress levels in the workplace, this figure is 8% higher than the UK.
59 per cent of Irish workers were concerned about maintaining a healthy lifestyle compared to 48 per cent of UK workers.
54 per cent of Irish workers were worried about paying bills compared to 41 per cent of UK employees.
64 per cent of Irish workers said that the stress and anxiety caused by these concerns is contributing to reduced concentration, 50 percent said it contributed to reduced job satisfaction and 44 per cent it contributed to lower productivity.
