New data from Vision Net has found an increase in the number of Irish Company start-ups in the first 9 months of this year are up 6% on the same period of last year.
September was the best month for start-ups this year which saw 1,784 new companies set up. It is the second month this year to have over 1,700 start-ups (July saw 1,770 new companies set up).
According to Vision Net, “The last time we saw two months in a calendar year record over 1,700 company start-ups was back in 2007 – with the insolvency rate for the year also down, this is yet another sign of Ireland’s continued economic recovery.”
